Education Dunedin offers our sincere sympathy to all international students and their host families affected by the Earthquake in Christchurch. Education providers in Dunedin are unaffected with many able to accept immediate emergency enrolments.

Students already in Christchurch whose education providers are closed and unlikely to open are welcome to enquire about studying in Dunedin. Students who feel a need to move from Christchurch are also welcome to enquire,  A provider list is on this website, please contact them directly to make your study arrangements.  Immigration New Zealand will need to be notified about any changes you make and our providers are able to assist you with this process.  

Students who were planning on coming to study in Christchurch should contact the provider who has offered them a place in the first instance. Not all of Christchurch is affected and many institutions will be reopening soon.  

Please be aware that if you wish to change your location or study provider you will need to obtain an offer of place from the education provider and advise Immigration New Zealand before travelling here.
